Ok, time for: Answer Persephone's Question 'Cause She's A Really Confused Goddess.
Alright, the ballroom scene. Sarah dances with Jareth, then kinda remembers what she has to do from the clock chiming and she runs to the side and breaks the crystal and returns to the labyrinth (if she was ever away from it).
My question:
What would have happened if she never remembered in the ballroom? I mean, it's not like after the thirteen hours Jareth would say, "Surprise! You failed, so go home now!"
Would they have danced forever and ever? Would he have taken her back to the castle after her time was up and convince her that she had always lived there? Would she have regained her memory after the time she had left was up? What would they have done?
there, now enlighten me.

Persephone

Well, I think after the thirteen hours were up, she probably would have gotten her memory back. But then again, I don't think there's a chance that she would not have remembered, because forgetting was something he did to her, and he only had as much power over her as she gave him.
*stepping back and looking at her nonsense* That makes no sense to me. I never understood it! No, really, if anyone has any idea what I just said, tell me!

I think you just said that the power Jareth used to bypass Sarah's memory was given to him by Sarah, and that it could not last forever.
If this is your point, I kind of disagree because if Sarah never remembers that Jareth has no power over her, she will continue to let him do things like that. As a result, they could go back to the castle and live happily ever after. That'd be nice. So would keeping JC in the ball gown for ever.
TTFN, Hugs 'n stuff.

That was a greatly insperational thought!!!!! I am impressed. I choose to believe that Jareth would keep her in that heavenly bubble (and other fantacy bubbles) and live happily in dreams forever after. At least if it were me, I wouldnt mind spending forever with Jareth. Its not that long after all.

Um. . .I would have to guess that him and Sarah would probably end up sleeping together. Hey, it could happen!
